This is my new favourite (camping) knife! I've got a couple of (survival) knives. This is just a monster! In my opinion it would have been great if it was slightly larger, on the other hand this makes it light, small and a great companion when backpacking. I'm a sucker for the holes in the handle, this way you can always mount it to stick and use it as a spear, in the exceptional situation. Or just on a carabiner hook. The kydex sheath (my favourite material for sheaths) does what it needs to do. It's nice, snug and fits perfectly. The Magnacut steel is a miracle! This summer I took a couple of knifes with me, amongst other things with D2 steel. At the end of my vacation the D2 knife was dull as what, where this knife was still extremely sharp! It works great for feathersticking and batoning. The last I didn't expect much of (due to the shorter blade), but it exceeded my expectations and would go through anything. And it is full tang! A thing that is a must for me for a knife for specific tasks. The jimping on the blade makes it very easy to handle, and exact to work with. As I use my knives, besides a camping utility, to carve wooden sculptures like human or animal figures. Last but not least, the part of the blade in the handle has rounded edges. I've got other knives where this is still 'square', which, over time start to irritate and hurt your fingers. So that's another good feature ;) A knife to fall in love with!
