SENCUT Toxodon S24036-1 Stonewashed Black G10, vaststaand mes

Met een tuin zoals die van mij kan je eigenlijk niet naar buiten zonder een degenlijk survivalknife. De Toxodon voldoet volledig aan deze omschrijving. Door de grootte heb je er een behoorlijke chopper mee voor handen. De sabregrind maakt hem daar heel geschikt voor. Het lemmet is echter dun genoeg om ook te gebruiken als groot vleesmes of zelfs het schillen van een appel. Punt van aandacht is wel de greep. Die is smal. Voor mijn kleine handen is dat prima maar als je wel grote poten hebt dan zou ik aan de slag gaan met paracord Het hele pakket is overigens relatief beperkt van omvang en gewicht. Prima mes om in het bos te camperen.

This knife is a nice surprise. Very slim, very sharp out of the box including greath sheath to carry your knife vertical or horizontal. Or just in your pocket of your jeans. The Sencut Toxodon reminds me to the LionSteel M5-G10 Sleipner blade with G10 handle, but with a wider but slimmer blade and for €100 less. Making feather sticks is easy, batoning goes well, just like making a fure using firesteel. Carving goes well too thanks to the sharpness of the hard steel. I bought two of these knives in the meantime. The grip is slim but feels comfortable in my hand, although I prefer a slightly thicker grip. But this is the only remark I have. Overall an excellent knife for less than €60. And not to forget, fast shipment by Knives and Tools. Ordered at 21:58h, delivered the next morning around 10:30h. Great as always!!!
